Claims explained

We’re aiming to help our customers in as many ways as possible and one great example of how we can help is a claim that was put in for a building contractors claim.

The policyholder ran a small works and handyman business with 3 staff members. They called in because their van had been broken in to. Usually with many insurers the investigation would take a long time to gather evidence from the police.

However our crack team of claims people (not ducks) were able to ‘facetime’ the customer which allowed him to show the damage to his Van, the obvious damage caused by the break in and the theft of tools.

Due to the urgent need for the customer to keep working and the evidence at hand we were able to make a quick payout so the customer was able to minimise the disruption to their business.

All in all, a great result for our customers.

Our claims promise

We will always try to talk to you to let you know what’s happening with your claim and once a claim is settled we will usually pay out in less than 48 hours.
